We have a 57 EGS C4 Picasso with only 31000 miles and have had terrible trouble over the years. A couple of years ago the computer on the gearbox failed and we had to have it replaced ( 6 months out of warranty). And for the past year we have had a juddering stuttering gear change into 1st and 2nd gear.It's not 'Auto transmission fluid'. It's only used for the actuator as the EGS box is a manual with electronic control, not a full auto gearbox. At this stage I'm not sure how the pipe is attached though. I know there are posts somewhere about gearbox issues due to the lack of fluid, but where..This gearbox is shite, I would never buy one again, however you cant fuck the customer off with "wear and tear mate, jog on fella" as the clutch is not operated by the customer, but the car.
