This didn't work for me but I figured it out. In case anyone else comes across this thread looking for help installing promods on steam deck I had to move the promods files to home>.local>share>ATS (or ETS2)>mod (if mod doesn't exist which it likely doesn't you'll have to create the mod folder). Download ETS 2 mods which you want to install and unzip the file with a free program like 7-Zip. The most Important step is to copy and paste mod file to right directory. Move mod file to: C:\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod folder. Don’t forget to activate your mods in game!
