First then - in the fascia fuse box - the one on the drivers side / edge of the dash - accessed by opening the drivers door - check fuse 46 ( a 5 amp ) bottom right hand corner of the fuse box - Then check fuse 47 ( 5 amp ) nest to that one Then working up , next row up - check fuses 40 , 41 and 42 ..

No headlights on dipped beam. Everything else is working as it should (high beam, sidelights, fogs, indicators) - but no dipped beam lights. Was all working fine yesterday, but no lights (dip) when I switched on last night. Checked fuses and all visible connections, changed bulbs - but still nothing.

Both Jettas and Golfs have some issues with the rear bulb trays getting water in them and rusting when the tail lamp seals start leaking. The left hand indicator lights (front, rear, side, instrument cluster) don’t work. The right hand lights all work as they should. The lights all work when hazards are turned on and when using the central locking.
