Factory Town. The development of the Factory, the second town to be introduced in Horn of the Abyss and 11th overall in the game, is in full swing. As you already know, on April 28th, the Streamfest convention took place where some of the freshly developed content was unveiled. It included the following video, which, if one forgives the obvious
Fortress Creatures: Necromancy easily make the skeleton the best unit in the game. Second would have to be the sprite. Very fast, no retaliation, plentiful in number, and flying make this creature a great clean up hitter and gives Conflux even more of a tactical advantage rounding out their numbers with 3 fliers and 2 shooters.
I am a bit newer to the game then most of you so keep that in mind, but this is the Template that I have been using: Might Heroes: 1. Logistics 2. Armor 3. Offence or Archer 4. Earth Magic (Town Portal FTW) 5. Tactic 6. Wisdom 7. Leadership or Diplomacy 8. Resistance Magic Heroes: 1. Sorcery 2. Intelligence 3. Mysticism 4. Wisdom 5. Earth Magic
Factory. Factory is a neutral alignment town with the mercenary and artificer hero classes. Factory armies combine nature with an attempt to harness its power, featuring humans wielding technology such as guns and flamethrowers, and creatures enhanced by technological advancements. Factory's native terrain is wasteland . For the faction in other games, see Academy. The Academy is a faction in Might & Magic: Heroes VII. It is made up of magicians, who dedicate their lives to magic and magical items. Wizards are proud seekers of knowledge, and subjugators of the natural order. They prize knowledge and research above all, and their great weakness is their desire to seek for these things in places - and in ways The towns represent 9 different factions, and each type of town has different creatures, art, and strengths/weaknesses. Some of the towns are going to be familiar if you like fantasy in general -- there's a forest town with elves & unicorns, there's a "fiery" town with demons and devils -- and some are pretty unique to Heroes 3 (swampy voodoo

As much as i love to play Fortress. I think they need to go one lower. Their magic access isn´t that great sadly. And they only have one ranged unit. Great town overall. Personally i rank Stronghold lower. I mean they are cool and hit hard but i always found them lacking in most areas. Also magic ain´t their thing.

Best town in maps with access to more gold mines (like 4+) is obviously heaven. Imagine you have 20 monks/month. Combined with nice light and dark magic, perfect morale bonuses, heaven are champions. In maps where you have fewer but largers stacs of creatures, suprisingly Necorpolis is the best.
These are typically recognizable by their description, as they will outline more complicated plots. Also the random map generator is a hoot to play with. Paladin 11 years ago #3. Myth and Legend. It's based on Greek mythology and has lots of story events. You can find it in Heroes III Restoration of Erathia.
