Perfect Color Rendering - 95 CRI. Waveform Lighting's LED strips are designed with 95 CRI minimum. This means that our lights are virtually indistinguishable from the classic incandescent, halogen, or daylight look, depending on color temperature. Top Features and Benefits: High CRI up to 97 and TLCI up to 100. High efficiency of 6.6 Watts/ft. High output up to 891 lm/ft (2923 lm/m) Available in 24V. Fully dimmable. Can be used to comply with Title 24 JA8. 50,000 hour lifespan (8 hours/day for 17 years)
As a rule, a CRI of 90 or more is considered high and anything below 80 is considered mid-range to low. If color quality is important, seriously consider something in the 90s. Otherwise, you may want to consider other factors like light output or wattage first and CRI as a secondary choice.

CRI is a more important consideration for retail lighting design than it is for office lighting. Any CRI rating of 80 or above is considered high and indicates that the source has good color properties. Incandescent lamps and daylight have a CRI of 100, the highest possible CRI. The higher the CRI of the light source, the "truer" it renders color.
Depending on who you are speaking to, CRI can take on a very different meaning. Our recommendation is to be explicit when discussing these metrics with manufacturers and customers. When discussing general CRI, it is best to use the term "CRI (Ra)" or general CRI (R1-R8). When discussing extended CRI, use the term "CRI (e)", "Re" or extended CRI
The CRI ratings cast a huge impact on the way lighting appears. You can clearly see the stark difference between the luminance levels of lights with different CRI ratings. Higher CRI ratings of any light denote a better color rendition that makes the color, details, and texture of the object clearly discernible to the human eye.
