Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! are very obviously designed to solve at least one half of the problem. I suspect Game Freak's ideal outcome is you, the old Pokémon veteran Pokémon: Gotta Catch 'Em All! r/pokemon is an unofficial Pokémon fan community. This is the place for most things Pokémon on Reddit—TV shows, video games, toys, trading cards, you name it! 4.5M Members. 3.8K Online. Top 1% Rank by size. r/PokemonROMhacks.
AFAIK it doesn't have compatibility with the switch yet (hard yet on that one) but yes your statement is correct. You pay around $4 for a year access, and they give you prizes and stuff in it, and it allows you to transfer your Pokemon easily between cartridges and even move them up a generation (i.e. gen 6 to gen 7, but this move cannot be undone) without the need for an extra game/system
Sword and Shield is missing a lot of the first 250 Pokémon. No Squirtle, no Geodude, no Porygon, no Dragonite, no Mewtwo. For what’s its worth, Let’s Go is the most fun I’ve had in a Pokémon game for over 10 years. Sword and shield is a big change on pokemon but would provide a good and fun experience to you I think.
This is a team for Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu. Pikachu: Thunderbolt, Thunder, Double Kick, Splishy Splash. Pikachu is your starter overall you really should use him. Charizard: Flamethrower, Fly, Dragon Pulse, Earthquake. a very good choice for this game since it has the flying and fire type.
Perhaps the most obvious reason why some may argue in favor of Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! and Eevee! are the go-to games for newcomers and retired veterans is because it has been completely graphically revamped. Granted, it wasn't the graphical revamp like a lot hoped, but it also wasn't severely limited by the 3D that the Nintendo 3DS could do.

3 FireRed And LeafGreen: The Difficulty. FireRed and LeafGreen are the usual difficulty of Pokémon games. The Let's Go! games are not. The partner Pikachu and Eevee are overpowered to the point of hilarity. If you do choose to use your partner Pokémon, they can blast through just about every single enemy you encounter.
