For anyone else trying to solve this, I think the issue might be with autosave. I've noticed that the autosave doesn't work at all - every time you enter the game and select Go Underground, it tries to start it from the beginning unless you manually load a save game before that. i use the dual ps2 - usb converter from redoctane.com with my dual shock ps1 controller. for some reason on games that support rumble it rumbles constantly but it doesn't on like, nes games and stuff. so i disable the rumble on nfsu2. i think i'm gonna pick up a ps2 controller and see if it still does that. but other than that it works great.

Need for speed Underground 2 "up button problem" game keeps scrolling up issue and solution. Hey guys, I recently re-installed NFSU2 into my computer to remember the good old days of being trully unconcerned and feeling what true happiness feels like :) And from the 1st minute all was there!
